How to configure Active Directory Domain Service using commands line in unattended mode?

Active Directory Domain Service (AD DS) can be installed in unattended mode using the below command line. This is particularly useful when you  promote a Windows Server 2008 Server Core installation to Domain Controller.

The below command can be used to install an Additional Domain controller in an existing Domain called ‘test.com’. Make sure you modify the command according to your domain name, username etc. Please note that the letters in the commands are case sensitive.
Open the command prompt and type the below commands:

Dcpromo /unattended /replicaOrNewDomain:replica /replicaDomainDNSName:test.com /ConfirmGC:Yes /UserName:TEST\Administrator /Password:***** /safeModeAdminPassword:P@ssw0rd

If all the syntax are correct, as you see in the screenshot, you will get a message the Active Directory Domain Services binaries are being installed.
