Unable to Install Windows 8 on VMware ESX or ESXi. Symptoms and Fix.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview is available and everybody prefers to install it on virtual machines. But Windows 8 can sometimes fail to boot on VMware ESX or ESXi. To resolve this issue, you should download and install a patch ESXi500-201112001 (Patch 02):

Once the patch is installed, you can create a new virtual machine configured for either Windows 7 or Windows 2008 R2. Enable 3d graphics or do not install VMware's WDDM video driver. 

Now, Install VMware form Media or ISO file. Then Install VMware tools. Reboot Windows 8 Operating System and check if it is working fine.
